At Banyan Tree Learning Center, our goal is to help children and adults become successful, efficient learners, at school and in the workplace. We work one-to-one using a completely individualized program.

Everyone has different ways of learning and processing information. We focus on identifying a person’s thinking and learning styles. Then we determine how to strengthen the foundational skills that will increase learning efficiency; ways that will improve the ability to take in, remember, and use information. Compensatory strategies are helpful and necessary, but they are often not enough. Individuals with learning differences need to be taught in a different way. The good news is that research has shown the brain can be re-trained, to bring efficiency and ease to learning.

Our programs/services include:

We work with individuals who face a variety of learning challenges and learning disabilities including Dyslexia, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorder, Speech/ Language Delays, Sensory Integration Dysfunction, Self-Esteem & Motivation issues, Executive Functioning, and Nonverbal Learning Disabilities. We specialize in teaching reading, spelling, written language, basic math, and study/organization skills.

Our directors and educational therapists have special education credentials, specialized training, and years of experience in the field of learning disabilities. Our instructors generally hold credentials and have received intensive training in learning theory, methods, and the programs used at Banyan Tree.
